Here
in the OMCC Executive Committee we have spent many hours preparing for our VII
World Encounter. But there must always be time for balance in the tripod of Prayer, Study and
Action.
Ban Điều Hành OMCC chúng tôi đã dành nhiều thời gian để chuẩn bị cho Đại hội
Thế giới lần thứ VII. Nhưng cũng phải luôn cân bằng thời gian trong kiềng ba
chân của việc Sùng Đạo, Học đạo và Hành đạo.
This
month I have been reading the Encyclical “Lumen Fidei” from Pope Francis,
(given to me by one of my sons.).
There is so much there that resonates in our Cursillo movement. I recommend
your reading, but for now I will just share a few passages that spoke to me of
Cursillo.
Tháng này tôi đã đọc được Thông Điệp "Lumen Fidei" của Đức Giáo Hoàng
Francis, (do một đứa con trai của tôi trao cho). Thông điệp này có nhiều âm
hưởng về Phong trào Cursillo của chúng
ta. Tôi khuyên bạn nên đọc thông điệp này, nhưng giờ đây tôi muốn chia sẻ một vài đoạn tác động đến tôi về Cursillo.
Faith
becomes operative in the Christian on the basis of the gift received, the love
which attracts our hearts to Christ (cf. Gal 5:6), and enables us to become
part of the Church’s great pilgrimage through history until the end of the
world. For those who have been transformed in this way, a new way of seeing
opens up, faith becomes light for their eyes.
Đức Tin trở nên tác dụng đối với Kitô hữu
trên nền tảng đón nhận hồng ân, tình yêu đó sẽ cuốn hút tâm hồn chúng ta đến với Chúa Kitô (x. Gl 5:6), và cho phép chúng ta thông
phần vào cuộc hành hương lớn của Giáo Hội xuyên qua lịch sử cho đến ngày cánh
chung. Đối với những người đã được biến đổi theo cách này, một nhãn quan mới
được mở ra, đức tin trở thành ánh sáng cho đôi mắt của họ.
And
further on:
Thanks
to faith we have come to understand the unique dignity of each person. Faith teaches us to see that every man and
woman represents a blessing for me, that the light of God’s face shines on me
through the faces of my brothers and sisters.
Và sâu xa hơn:
Nhờ đức tin, chúng
ta hiểu được phẩm giá cao quý của mỗi con người. Đức tin giúp chúng ta nhận ra mỗi người nam và người nữ đều là một biểu hiện phước lành cho ta, ánh sáng khuôn mặt của Thiên Chúa tỏa sáng trên
ta thông qua khuôn mặt của anh chị em ta.
Our
charism, transmitted through friendship, shows us a new way of seeing the
unique dignity of each person. And finally:
Faith
is passed on, we might say, by contact, from one person to another, just as one
candle is lighted from another. Christians, in their poverty, plant a seed so
rich that it becomes a great tree, capable of filling the world with its fruit.
